ABSTRACT: Investigating the benefits of early childhood education in refugee integration is crucial for understanding its role in supporting displaced children. This study aimed to evaluate how early childhood education programs facilitate the integration of refugee children into new communities. The objectives were to (1) assess improvements in language acquisition, (2) evaluate the enhancement of social integration, and (3) examine the role of supportive educational environments. A survey design was employed to systematically collect data from participants. A purposive sample of 100 refugee children aged 3-6 years, enrolled in early childhood education programs, was selected from an education center in Borno State. Findings revealed significant improvements in language acquisition, enhanced social integration, and the crucial role of supportive educational environments in fostering a sense of belonging and stability. Recommendations included increasing support for early childhood education programs targeting refugee children and providing specialized training for educators to address the unique needs of displaced children.
